HiGlass
HiGlass is a fast visualization tool for large Hi-C and other genomic interaction datasets. It was created at the Gehlenborg Lab at Harvard Medical School in collaboration with the Visual Computing Group at Harvard SEAS and the Mirny Lab at MIT, as part of the 4D Nucleome Project.
Usage
Currently, HiGlass integration supports Hi-C data visualization using cool files. This feature is still under active development.
The extension provides two nodes:
- HiGlass Track — Handles data preparation, including position alignments and track configuration
- HiGlass Visualizer — Renders the interactive HiGlass view from the prepared tracks
Both nodes can be installed from the Bioinformatics Hub extension — just press Install and everything will be set up automatically.
